June 7, 2016 Board Meeting Agenda Item #52 Title APPROVAL OF THE ADDENDUM TO THE THIRD PARTY LIABILITY CLAIMS ADJUSTING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH JOHNS EASTERN COMPANY EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2016 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2019 Description The current agreement with Johns Eastern Company for the Liability Adjusting Services is from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2018. A new contract with Johns Eastern for Workers' Compensation Claims Services was approved by the Board on May 3, 2016. As part of the negotiations of that agreement, Johns Eastern agreed to reduce the general liability claim fees by 11.1% to match the auto liability claim fees and extend the Liability Claims Adjusting Services contract for one additional year at a 0% increase. Recommendation That the Addendum to the Third Party Liability Claims Adjusting Services Contract be approved by the Board as presented.
